My other roles
Level Design
Aside from systems design, Level design is my second favorite type of design to work as. Level design is where you get to actually design the game in a way that is fun for the player as it is what the player interacts with. So getting to see others play my levels is quite enjoyable, especially when they begin to have fun with it.
As a level designer, I've built levels following the exact standard process of level design by going through a paper map, grey box to a playable and then alpha and beta builds
UI Design
UI Design is something that has interested me a bit in that in a similar vein to level design, what the player interacts with UI wise is what you create. Not to mention that a good UI is unnoticed by the player, and getting to that type of state for players, as a UI designer, is quite satisfying.
Producer/management
Through acting more as a systems designer, or the roles when simultaneously acting as a producer, I've learned many important factors needed for development. My role as more of a manager would also kick in when I would have to manage a club in order to get everyone to be able to work on game development projects.
